EVH was on a "cease and desist" kick in 2004 wasnt he.Putting one on his bass player for hot sauce? EVH has LSD now more then any of his former singers. What and ass.

I was surprised that when they were doing the "reunion", that Mike wasn't asked to be in the band! I thought it was pretty cool of him to take less money just so he could go out and play music. Shame that he had to go through EVH's lawyers to be "allowed" to play in Van Halen though...

Good article. I was never a big Van Halen fan and never liked his playing to begin with, but I was a Sammy fan and after reading that, a Michael A. fan too.

Just goes to show how much Anthony's presence in Van Halen means to the brothers... namely absolutely zilch. I resent that. And i'm sorry to see that Anthony seems weak enough to suck it all up, in favour of gettin' playing time with the band. He's honest but he sold out.

well now Ed in my mind has transitioned from a former great player to a totally washed up asshole.

sad is the right word.

I think Ed has successfully transitioned to "has-been" status.
And they bitch about Dave's ego??? How about Ed's.

I tend to blame Alex. Seems that he is the "brains" of the two brothers. Ed just feeds off of the crap that Alex spews.

MA should just tour with Sammy, would make a lot of sense
