I just went on a DL spree with iTunes, and 3 albums were Nevermore. I got Dreaming Neon Black and Dead Heart in A Dead World, but 4 of my favorite tunes are

The Heart Collector
Engines of Hate
Posion Godmachine
The rest of the albums kick ass, but those are the ones that come to mind immediatly -

Unless you find a cassette of a local NJ band with that name. [img]/images/graemlins/brow.gif[/img] I found out about those guys when I picked up the tape in my local record store not too long after the real Nevermore put out their debut. Strange band, did a cover of some Doors song which I can't remember offhand. I gotta dig through my old bag of tapes and see. I was highly disappointed this wasn't Seattle's Nevermore as we know them. [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img]I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment

some of the best songs (imho) are enemies of reality, engines of hate, this godless endeavor, the tiananmen man, beyond within, optimist or pessimist (highly underrated song!)

Jeff Loomis is hands down THE best metal player in existence today..he has been for the last decade..and he inspires me BIG TIME!

agreed....nevermore is fucking sweet....loomis is hands down one of the best metal players of all time.
