I don't have any pics, but it was an ESP Eclipse (this was the model name before they changed it to the Les Paul shape). He had a few of them made, and he and bass player Frankie Bello were endorsed by ESP for a brief period.

That one had a banana headstock? I thought I remembered the red one as having the Jackson-type headstock. Maybe he had more than one red one?

I have a few pix of it. I just moved over Christmas and have been searchingfor a pic for four days since you posted. All my crap is still in boxes. Well I finally found one pic! But now I can't find the cord to my scanner! Unreal. :~(

OK, looking at the picture... I see a bananna headstock ESP, with Rosewood fretboard (dot inlays), black Floyd, 1 black humbucker, red tele body with black binding (front and back), same red & white FF round sticker on the top of the body as below photo.

Here is a pic from the same show in '83 in Cocoa Beach Fla...
