Makes you wish he would come back! Broke my heart to see him with an ESP, I would have accepted almost any other company but ESP!

Originally posted by RR0849I actually already have pics ready for the BC Rich stuff. He mostly used Biches but also Warlocks, Mockingbirds and IIRC an Ironbird as well.
As for ESPs I don't think I have the time...The only solution to GAS is DEATH...

Excellent work. Very interesting stuff.
But the thing that bothers me, is the king V doubleneck... Thought to be the very first doubleneck.... I would think that would be an easy fact to verify, since some of the Jackson people had worked there for over 20 years, and are still there? They should know- shouldn't they?
Thanks for taking the time to put together a great page.

Actually only way to verify such stuff is to go through all the log entries and noone has them. And that would only verify that there wasn't one logged before it which as we know doesn't mean that there wasn't one built as a prototype etc. Usually comments by old employees and artists on 20 year old stuff have been proven wrong. Just look at Dave's comments on his "number one" KV. But it's very unlikely that there was a doubleneck KV made earlier to Dave's black one.
I've tried to make it clear in the texts when something is based on documents and when it's just something that is obvious but not verified in any way. I've included WOs for some guitars. I still have some shipping docs etc that I won't put up there cause there is personal information on those. Dave had close to 100 Jacksons so noone including himself knows what happened to each one of his guitars and where they were placed in the timeline. Some of them were modded, some of them had no WOs etc. So it's basically impossible to verify some of the stuff. I've tried to concentrate more on the guitars that are clearly documented and on others just add some fun pics and general observations. Luckily with Dave he stuck to his usual specs so if You have some WOs from different time periods You get a good overall picture.
But to sum it up You can't call Jackson and ask for all the log entries and WOs for Mustaine's guitars. It's nearly impossible to get a WO for a guitar that You own let alone for 100 artist guitars. But anyone is free to try of course.
Thanks for all the comments and I hope I can keep on adding more info as time goes by!My band here -> http://www.diceoffate.com/

Killer site Jani! I was looking forward to some of this stuff, I'd like to help maybe with a subsite of pics of Dave's gear?
thank you very much!
I don't know if everyone is having this problem, but some of the text was hard to read for me, mostly the menu words, could be because I have 1600X1200 resolution running?
