I was surprised to see how he used the trem for almost all the vibrato, even the subtle stuff, in the second clip. I know it was just a video, but I assume that's how he played it for the recording.

Im surprised too considering Gary has one of the best finger vibratos in rock. Thanks for posting the cool videos guys!

I think the guitar in the video is just a prop. He drops the bar and note keeps wobbling. I'd have to listen again for dives but I bet the recording was done on a guitar without a wammy at all.
