If we are gonna talk about the Diginet guitar Masters albums then I think Michael Harris' Hurricane X and Corbin King's Destination are better from an improvisational standpoint than David's. I always found that weird since DTC is usually such a strong improvisor (check out his Cincinnati Improvisational Group, Georgea Blues Dawgs or even Southern Gentlmen's first 2 records).

I've got some chastain as well, some pretty kick ass stuff
BUT.....I am a huge Michael harris fan, he's got a couple of great "rush" like Cds out there "Sketches from the Thought Chamber" is an amazing Cd,
as is "Defense Mechanizsms"
Michael even sent me hand written tab for one of his songs, how f'n cool is that.
Way too many great shredders going by un noticed in the musical environment of today.
What a shame. If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

I am really not familiar with his matgerial, but have been aware of him for a long time. Probably sounds funny, but I bought his instructional video to see what was up with him. It was $9.99 and I'm cheap, sue me!
While I have to say his playing doesn't really trip my trigger, I enjoyed his presentation of concepts. And of course, like everyone who's ever done one of those videos, there's Scott Travis again on drums! He must have a Batphone or something, he's there for every vid!
Anyway, I thought he presented his teaching tape better than a lot of more famous guys did, he dived right in clearly explaining and demonstrating everything. I gained a lot of respect for the guy. Though I still can't afford any of his stuff, I probably don't know what he plays like other than the tape!Ron is the MAN!!!!
