The photos in Charvel750's auction has a USA neck which is not original to the Dough Aldrich model.
The Dough Aldrich model is made in Japan (Grover Jackson) and has a reverse head stock with reverse skarkfins and scalloped fret 12-24, teeth graphic on the head stock. Ehhh... maybe he didn't play this model I just saw now that you wanted photos of his specific guitar...?

The guitar in Joes auction used to be mione. Was a DA body with a neck from NEWC I believe... nice player...

Wayniac, out of interest, where's the DA neck for that body now? Where did you buy the guitar originally? Just vewy vewy curious

I think the guitar was parted out... I never saw the original neck - someone on the board here had the neck (it was DA #12) .. neck was shot ! I had contacted the guy on the board here who had it, and he wouldn't sell to me.
I got the body off of the 'Bay - some Dude in RI..... then I got a Schaller Floyd, and did the rebuild with the help of Sambencuda...

Actually, that looks like my old Aldrich model which I had shipped over from Japan because that is where they were made and sold. I sold it on ebay back in 2000 (or so).

Great guitar, it really is too bad he never was recognized here in the states, he completely destroys 95% of the guys who did.
