I believe he sometimes used his valvestate chorus effect...but usually he played dry....

He has said he used chorus, but I think it was a pedal since his Valvestate model didn't have chorus built in. Didn't he use only the 8100?

I've got a Valvestate 2x12 stereo chorus combo, the 8240. The only other Valvestates to have chorus were the Bi-Chorus 8200 and 8280, and I don't think he used those.

Confirmed...he only used the 8100s...he swore by those for many years!
