Yep it was shot for MTV from salt lake city on the BATM tour .. It was released as a full concert in japanese release only .. If this was the March 18/84 show, I was there. My parents had shipped me to Utah from Jan '84 - Aug'84 to live with relatives and my cousin took me to see Ozzy and Motley. The show was incredible - Jake was just on fire the whole night. Ozzy was a bit weak, but isn't he always?

Are you sure? I was unaware he had a white Charvel Strat. I know he had a Daphne blue, Candy red with mirror pickguard, Purpleburst and Blueburst Charvels. Later he had a white Jackson Strat. To my knowledge he only had that white Charvelized '75 Fender Strat that used to be sunburst.

It is the daphne one, it looks white in certain light.
On a side note, hasd anyone heard the abortion Ozzy turned Bark at the moon current reissue? He took out 4 out of the 5 solos in Rock n Roll Rebel, I know Zakk played some parts in it as well as the bass and drums being re-recorded...lame.

Very cool vid. I saw that tour in 2/2/84 in Pittsburgh. Jake also played a black strat style guitar that night. Anyone know what that one was?Comment

Rupe-Never seen him with a black one back then, but who knows. Couldve been a loaner.
MetalMedal-He screwed with BATM bad, keys too loud, solos gone, bass and drums re done.It was a big dissapointment to hear.Ozzy wont re-release The Ultimate Sin becasue Phil Soussan wont give up his royalties on shot in the dark, and sued the osbournes to get money owed.That Bitch Sharon kicked Phil in the shin at Randy Casillo's funeral.Woman hasd no couth and has destroyed several classic cd's in the name of making more money.I love moneytoo, but there are lines that shouldnt be crossed and re-recording parts to avoid paying certain people is ludircrus.Comment
