  • Jorn Viggo Lofstad - Pagan's Mind

This dude seriously can rip up a fretboard. I just got into Pagan's Mind and Jorn (His side project with singer Jorn Lande) thanks to HippieTim. This guy is a seriously tight rythme player and a monster lead player. Anyone else out there like him?

I'm checking them out now. I'll let you know what I think.

Halfway through the video for Osiris Eyes and so far I'm digging these guys a lot. I think I might have to add some of their stuff to my collection.

The solo for that song was very tasteful. I liked the way he worked his Wolfgang. (that didn't sound too gay, did it?)

Cool guy (met him at Progpower) and hung out with him and the "other" Jorn (lol) in Norway.. tasty player, good riffs...
Uses EBMM EVH's (his back-up is the same exact color), and a Les Paul through a Peavery 5150 II....
He will be playing Progpower in Atlanta this year as well... still tickets left

Man, you guys had me thinking I was crazy. Check out the video for Through Osiris Eyes. http://www.pagansmind.com/media_sub/media_mvid.htm
He uses a black Wolfgang for most of the song, including the solo.

their latest effort is really good. you can definitely hear their 80's influence, but it's wrapped in a heavy/prog fashion...I like their style.
My favorite song of theirs is probably Enigmatic Mission.

                    Ticket Information:
Tickets are now available via all Ticketmaster outlets. Less than 50 tickets remain (advanced gold badge tickets are sold out). Cost is $104 for a two day pass. No individual day tickets will be sold. When deciding on your date of purchase, please keep in mind that tickets for the past three shows sold out over four months in advance of the show date. This is an elite show with an elite audience. You have been warned.

                    Order your tickets from Ticketmaster.

                    Doors:

I do not want the person that has a regular ticket and has waited in line for several hours at the front to be shocked when 250 others go in before he/she does.
