Never heard of the Takayoshi Ohmura guy.. Who's he play with?

I saw Takayoshi Ohmura give a demonstration at the ESP booth at the Musical Instrument Fair in Yokohama last November.

I had never heard of him previous to that, but I was very impressed.

On a side note, there was a guy at the Yamaha booth who was playing "Panama" by VH really poorly.

Yeah he did a couple of times I noticed. Still had the best tone by far.
I was not impressed with any of the tone of the other guys.

Hmmm, as much as I absolutely worship Lynch...I think Gus had the best tone and the best chops on that vid. Very cool stuff.

I thought that Ohmura was the best, personally....nice sweeps. Looked like that star was an ESP. Lynch was cool, as always, and took the most solos...of course.

Lynch is never really consistent but he makes up for it by having one of the most original styles, ever. He isn't as technically proficient as Vai, Satch and Yngwie but I find his style so interesting that he is one of my favorites. I'll take some clams for the originality.
