    thats really cool man di8me lessons seem to be real hard to find although i've seen a rare home vid lesson on youtube but thats it

                      Cool dude... Actually I meant a live video. Cos my puny fingers are too short and not nimble enough to play the legato passage at the end of the solo, was always hoping to pick up some tips from the man himself. RIP.

                          Dime had incredible chops and knew how to use them in the context of a song. Although the focus is on his soloing his rhythm playing is tight and grooves. He's like the EVH of metal and one of my favorites along with Lynch, EVH and Gilmore.

                            I remember Marty Friedman saying after Dime had died that he was a much better player than he needed to be to play the music that he did. One of those all round players who wrote and played awesome rhythms as well as solos. Someone posted a video here once of Dime doing a solo spot in the mid-late 80's. Fucking awesome.
