    Les Paul with DiMarzio Super Distortion's into a Marshall

      my JCM 900 SL-X 100 watt head with 1960 cab could do Kiss all day long. They even endorsed those heads at the time.
      Maybe plug a Les Paul into it and you'll be pretty close, the rest is in your hands

        Pretty much any Marshall and any guitar with humbuckers will do it for you.

          Like someone else said, most of the early stuff needs to be tuned down 1/2 step. To get the best effect, you need to buy my ACE FREHLEY LP.

            A Les Paul, dry Marshall, Super Distortions and as much booze as your fingers can handle...that will give you Ace.

            Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

                I think Paul used Super 2's..but 'classic' Kiss is Marshall JMP, Dimarzio SD's, Marshall cab with 25 watt or 20 watt celestions.

                You could likely use a Peavey Classic 50 with Celestion V30's.
                Better get high heel boots, lipstick & clown/mime makeup too.

                  As far as Ace, I know he used DiMarzio Super Distortions. I'm not sure about Paul, though.
                  Paul used mostly Super II's in his signature models (Iceman) during the early days. Not sure about later on though.

                    Didn't they have those "Vintage 40 Celestions" made by Ghandi? You the ones Petrucci uses... Hehe...

                      Ah, cool. I love the Super 2 in the neck, but I'd think it would be a little too bright in the bridge for my tastes.

                        Ace's early stuff...
                        Gibson=original gibson "dirty finger" PU's=cord=marshall.
                        Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

                        I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
