Mike, Thanks for the post...yeah man..there's a whole new breed that really ran with the ball...kinda makes alot of the old standard shred guys look pretty tame.
Guys like Loomis , Broderick, Karlsson and guys like this are taking it to another level..just when you think you seen and heard it all..something fresh and new comes along..it took Nevermore about 10 years to get noticed..I thought they never would..it's about time this talent is appreciated...
I missed this stuff for far too long..I hope it stays..I think it will for a while ..kids are playing and woodshedding again..that's great!!

Well it looks like they (Dragonforce) are playing the main stage at Ozzfest which should gather them some more attention. I'm baffeled why SYL only gets a rotating slot on the 2nd stage while Avenged Sevenfold gets to play on the mainstage, blah thats just wrong in my opinion.
Also Lacuna Coil is in the mainstage lineup as well so now were back on topic.
Now if they could only get Adrianna Lima to do a striptease before the bands play.
On a interesting note supposedly she says shes still a virgin. 
I dont know if I believe that .

is it the bands or is it the management and record labels pressuring them to "sound" a certain way I wonder.
I've been listening to their older stuff and it doesn't sound like korn at all, it's pretty freaking good. No shredding, but I can listen to music for music's sake as a "non musician"If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?Comment
