  • Moondance Jam

Held in a small town of Walker, MN every year it is a 4 day event with 5 bands per day.

Some of the bands this year were Outlaws, Y & T and Poison.

All 3 rocked! Always wanted to see Y & T. It was 95 degrees that day and thay played at about 4:30 PM so it was hot! They were facing straight into the sun. Crowd was smaller since it was the middle of the day and the last band does not come on until 11:00 PM.

Outlaws were good also. Another band I have wanted to see.

Poison sounded good although I thought the vocals were a bit off. CC is a better player than I thought he would be. Stictly played V's all night. They had a great time.

Crowd of about 50,000 at its peak.

I've always wanted to go, but I don't like BIG festivals like that. We have a lake cabin about 30 miles from Walker. Did Cinderella play too?

Glad you had a good time. I've heard that Bret is kinda the weak link for Poison these days. I'll be seeing them at the MN State Fair with Firehouse opening. Firehouse has ALWAYS put on a good show and they are ALWAYS tight - say what you will, but they are a good band.

I saw Firehouse at the Rib Fest and they sounded real good. Have always liked them and the singer has a fantastic voice.

Cinderella was there last year I think but not this year. I have seen them at Medina Ballroom though. They were good.

Yeah Moondance is starting to become too big now. Casino charges an xtra $100 a nite for a room. $15 parking if you want to park on the grounds. $7.00 for a shuttle ride per day.
Beers are still $3.00 but when they hit $5.00 I am gone!
Starting to look for a smaller venue like the Halfway Jam held near St. Cloud.
