Holy shit, I was listening to Mind's Eye when I saw this thread. I love his solo work as well as the playing he has done in the 'new' UFO. Awesome player.

I got to see Vinnie this year in a jam at an Ernie Ball forum event. He was up there with Morse, Petrucci and Lukather. When they all just were up there for your usual blues/rock kinda jam he made all 3 of em look like amatures. And trust me, Morse is one of my favorites all time, but when they jammed he and Petrucci looked lost, Lukather was wasted (as usual) and Vinnie was so smooth and covered all the bases and it was obvious that they were kinda in awe of him.
                  Truly amazing player.

You beat me to it !!

All of the guitars he was playing in the vid were Heartfield Talons.

Great guitars, I still have 4 or 5.

Bought my first high gain tube amp because of Vinnie Moore!
I heard "Mind's Eye" and saw his endorment ad for Laney amps ('86 or '87) and went out and bought a brand new Laney AOR Pro Tube Lead 50 watt head.
