Most valuable guitars
> I guess it's possible the details got messed up by someone at GW or Dweezil himself. In one of the older Jimi special issue GW mags, there was an article with pics of guitars he had given to people or that they bought after his death. Dweezil was holding a burnt-up Strat with a fresh chrome single-hum pickguard and a newish looking neck, that was supposed to have been it. In the article,it said they they had had it worked on/cleaned up by a luthier named Rex or something, and that the original melted pickup covers disappeared. I bet Dweezil's green maple neck Charvel would bring a nice sum. Tommy D.
