That's one insane rack! What about this, though? Some crazy Dutch guy:

You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

You and me both, he's probably old, grey and sour nowadays. The frustration that went into it must be nearly lethal.

I never got into racks...I'm old school and really think every piece of gear your signal runs through robs the original signal of some tone.

I just did a quick Visio diagram of what my rack is gonna be. And just to answer some questions up front:

              1) Yes, it is over-fucking-kill.
              2) No, I don't *need* all this shit. I want it.
              3) It is fucking heavy. I will probably never gig with it.
              4) My regular rig with my band is a head, cabinet, and pedals.

              Here's the physical layout:

              And the audio flow:

I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

That does look like overkill! That thing will be massive, Tim!

I like the fact of the parametric EQ, lots of people do not seem to feel the need for that in their racks.

Very interesting though, using the PODxt Pro as your pre? Not familliar with the 'Millie'?

the xt pro is my "other" preamp. the mille is a kickass preamp made by an italian company brunetti.

It's a Brunetti!? No way! I must be getting rusty. I played a Brunetti 59 top a couple of times, a guy wanted to trade it in for my SL2 the deal didn't go through, but we ended up having some nice jams. It sounded fantastic and because of their European roots they don't necessarily cost an arm & a leg over here.

your spot on mate,he doesnt realy need all that shit or the fucking huge pedal board>i think these guys saw vai's pedal board and want bigger ones!

also his normal lead sound has LOADS of delay on it--even his dry signal is wetter than a weekend in blackpool..lol

but hey,if he need to program each song into that monster board and also have shitloads of amp heads to get those sounds out of-then fair enough

others are happy with the basic amp/chord/guitar i tend to use my 2120 with a clean then a mean and finaly a scream preset for the leads>i also break floor pedals too easily!my control pedal board is fralling aprtfrom kicking it when i get my foot near it..lol.
