Cool. I'll have to start checking out his collection the next time I hit the local record store.

Ok, I haven't actually heard you play, but every guitarist needs to believe in himself, right?

Does he sing in that one? Or did he only sing on his later albums. Wasn't too much into his voice.

Hedges died in a car accident, not from cancer. They actually didn't even find him for a couple of weeks.

His acoustic material is amazing, but toward the end of his days he started playing around with a Steinberger Transtrem. Check out his Taproot album for a couple of tunes he recorded with it...very cool stuff and much different than anything that I've heard anyone else do with one.

Hedges did some pretty damn funny covers too. I think I have a copy of him doing Lucky Star by Madonna and also he did a really good acoustic cover of All Along the Watchtower.

He does. A lot of it is live as well. He does a live version of All Along The Watchtower and there is also a song called Woman Of The World that makes me friggin ball like a schoolgirl every time i hear it. Especially now that he's gone. Just a beautiful song. Kind of like when i hear Stevie Ray sing Life By The Drop...

Agreed. Great album. I also like his last one, Torched, which if i remember was basically raw and unmixed but when they went to mix it and such they couldn't so they left it exactly as Michael had when they found it... If that makes any sense at all...
