Nevermore tunes to E flat but they use 7 strings so they have an A# as their lowest open string note.
Grab a Schecter hellraiser 7, then you can play as low as you want or ignore the low b string and play normally.
even Friedman uses a 7 occasionally on some of his newer solo pieces.
add a cool coloring to the sound.
