ya i got it. its pretty good but its not as good as ashes of the wake. however i'm sure it'll grow on me cuz i like it more every time i hear it. lamb of god is wicked!!!

Yes, it did take say, 3 listens to really start growing on me. The only song to really grab me on the first listen was Descending, which almost didn't make the album!

I don't think this band will ever make an album that I enjoy as much as As the Palaces Burn.

Better than AOTW. More depth, more personality, and most important - GOOD solos in almost every song! I'd say if it continues to grow on me that I'll rank it up there with ATPB in terms of awesomeness.

LOG were smart to release it when they did. The new Mastodon is going to crush and maul everything when it comes out and LOG will need the head-start.

I don't know man, I tried getting into Mastodon. Even bought that dvd they put out last winter. They're all right, kinda noisy for my tastes. But crushing LOG? I find that kinda funny. To each his own...
