Why the heck are you guys helping the guy at Jackson gather pictures of all the artist guitars? Did it not occur to you folks that you are building the picture database for guitars that they probably won't be willing to build you anymore? At least make him do his own research on the guitars.

Why would you willingly feed pics to JMIC to add to the list of prohibited guitars that we all enjoy that will no longer be produced, or if they are at a price that many (most) of simply can't afford as "Artist Replications".

Haven't you seen/read/heard about some of the custom runs being cancelled due to the very above issues?

Since the nearest custom shop dealer is about 1000 miles way from me and I have virtually no chance of placing a custom order in the forseeable future, no, was not aware of this. If the intent in the thread is considered to be benign, why wasn't it pulled, or some other appropriate action taken? (I have no idea what that would be)

Or maybe they're looking to get ideas to approach artists for possible future artist replica runs. ...You know, like has already been done with the EVHs and Dimartinis?

Ya know....you're exactly right in some respects...as I own no Jackson's anymore and I refuse to EVER purchase a new Fender or JMIC product again, I really COULD give 2 fucks less if this happens to be honest, but, to the dudes and dudettes who DO like Jacksons....that's kinda hokey to do to them.

Interesting that someone who really "could give 2 fucks" consistently feels the need to point out (...assumed/possibly wrong...) negative intentions from a company and product that they have no intention of ever buying. In huge, red print, no less.

Hmmmm Pat...maybe, just maybe do you possibly think that the REASON that I refuse to buy or use new FMIC products is because of the bullshit that has been going on??

It just seems to me, maybe it's my misperception, that due to you owning and purchasing more of the new Charvel's you feel the compelling need to defend them at every turn, and turn hostile to others who don't share your same viewpoint.

Like I said..I could give 2 fucks less about the new products..but, I'm not a hypocrite...I have owned one of the limited run Solars...a Retro-Bullseye Strathead, and earlier models such as the Shannon Soloist...they are all gone. I have however, kept my 3 old Dimas Charvel's in my collection..so...at least I have a leg to stand on there before you try to kick it out from under me.

As much as it pains me to write this, I swear I'd be estatic if FMIC would officially stop production of the new Charvel's...at least when it died the first time, it went out with grace and dignity....now it has become a blasphemous shadow of its former self. I will have no part in it.
