Why the heck are you guys helping the guy at Jackson gather pictures of all the artist guitars? Did it not occur to you folks that you are building the picture database for guitars that they probably won't be willing to build you anymore? At least make him do his own research on the guitars.

Being someone who had an order cancelled because they couldn't make the guitar anymore, even I don't see that as a motive here.

The fact is that another forum member did not start the thread. I found the timing of all this to be very convenient.

But if it was started by another forum member it would depend on who started it to know how nefarious the intentions were.

Clearly if it was Toejam the motivation would have to be questioned because he would likely just be trying to steal ideas for his next moob tattoo.

If it was Billz I think I'd have to raise my eyebrows just because I always raise my eyebrows when he posts.

If Chucksplatter started it someone would undoubtedly accuse him of being angry at Jackson.

If LesPaulCustom started it I would assume that the images would be used to torture detainees in Guantanamo - "...talk or we're going to show you more hair metal guitar players in women's clothes...don't make me bring out the Vinnie Vincent picture again"

BTW, here's a novel thought, why doesnt the person that STARTED this fukkin thread bring his ass back here and explain WHY he wants them instead of sitting the fukk around and watching people who have been friends for years fight over the gay "mah old guitar can beat up your new guitar" BS.

Its really old, its really stupid, and to be honest, most people dont give a rats ass what you all think of your old guitars versus the new ones.

I do have one question though for you "purists". Ever notice that those of us that DO like some new ones have no problem liking old ones too, but it doesnt work the other way? Think about that. Its rather damning, if you ask me.

FMIC doesnt give a shit if a few dudes on a couple of boards dont like their product, so why cause all the rifts among friends? Dont buy them, end of story. Why the need to be the town crier?

Sam,Chuck,etc.....I love you all, but theres not one of you that has enough pull to do anything about this perceived campaign to build terrible guitars(which, btw, is an outstanding business plan), except upset your friends, so let it go. Dont buy them. Good for you. Good for me, more cool ones. Everyone is happy. Go stroke your old ones and tell them you love them best.

I don't really dislike anybody(well, there's a very select few:ROTF: )...contrary to popular belief...I just find it humorous in the players on the different boards.

It's all good....I'm sure at the end of the day that Shawn, Pat, Kev, or whomever could really care less what I or anybody else plays...and the opposite is true...if you wanna squeak out on a Kay Acoustic singing campfire songs...that's cool.

I, however, am not crazy about some/most of the recent developments from JCMI...but, like you said.....JCMI/Fender could give a fuck less what I think...and that's cool too....
