I emailed the guy who runs his website (who is really nice)and he told me this:
Hello,
Thanks for your email.
Originally the guitars had 58's in them, but currently the white one
has an 81, the red one was sold/donated to charity in the early
1990's.
Yes, a replacement rosewood Jackson neck was added to the white
guitar for the After the War World tour, 1989.
