  • Ratt : Behind the Music

Watched this yesterday and came away with a better understanding of what the band was going thru back in the day. The stuff on Crosby was really cool. The interviews with him before he died were eye openers to say the least. Man, what an awesome guy, it is so sad that he lost the battle against heroin.

Warren seems like a really nice guy as did Juan. Bobby and Pearcy seemed like utter trash. The band really had alot going for them and it was sad to see them fall apart.

Good show. I am sure it left out a ton of stuff, but it was still a blast to watch.

If you get the chance to see this, I recommend it highly.

I think in may, metal month, they [vh1] had Ratt and Pantera back to back a few times.

The Pantera BTM is really good, sad because of what happened to Dime, but a great show regardless.

I like all them Behind the Musics. You learn a lot. Hell I even felt bad for Milli Vanilli after one of their shows.:ROTF: :ROTF:

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Yeah, saw them, then. I think I burnt the Ratt one to disk. Wife and I have been fans for years. Good Behind The Music. Never knew just how bad it had gotten, till I watched that.

I've seen it, really crazy times for those guys. Talk about excess... dayum! Man I remember when "Out of the Cellar" came out. I had been playing only about three years and I heard all those crazy DeMartini licks, man I was floored! There wasn't a bad song on that whole album imho.

I was never a huge Ratt fan, but this is very true. They always put out great songs. I'd like to get the EP on CD as well.
