Saw Bonnie Raitt and Keb Mo

When I was in Nashville this weekend I caught them at the Grand Ole Opry. She is not one of my favorites, but is one now and I hadn't heard Keb before. In case you haven't been at the Opry, it has the best acoustics I have ever heard. The sound is awesome. Between them and the studio cats, they had Vox (I think modded to hell), some Fenders, and a Badcat. They were all pretty small amps, but with the miking and sound system sounded just awesome. Bonnie had all her Strats and Keb changed guitars with every song. He had some cool looking guitars. One was a ES style electric that was a Dobro resonator type. I don't know what the makes were. I was too far away, plus I need glasses now Got to check that out! Cool stuff. She had some studio folks come up that she doesn't normally have on tour with her. She was back in music town so alot of the studio folks came out to see her. They will be in Houston Saturday and I'm thinking of going to that concert too. But in the Opry, you can't get better than that!
