Yeah, the age-old problem... Ibanez will pay endorsees and give them free shit, Jackson won't. Plus, doesn't Herman Li already play Ibanez? This stuff is almost inevitable, they either go to Ibanez or ESP/LTD.

Oh well, I don't play Charvel/Jackson because of some "hero", it's the guitar itself I like. I can't say I wouldn't go Ibanez if they were gonna pay me good money too though, I'd just ask for better tonewood for my model, alder or swamp ash rather than basswood. It's okay, but not my fave.

DRAGONFORCE SUCK !!!

They are without doubt one of the most boring monotonous bands i've heard in a while. If they stopped widdling pointlessly for like even a few seconds it wouldn't be so bad, but they don't and they just sound like early 90s happy hardcore rave music..their singer even does the chipmunk vocals perfectly...

now i know a lot of dragonforce fans, but it seems all of them like dragonforce for the widdly factor, which is great, but i've heard far better people widdle, and do it far more interstingly, vai satch, becker, friedman, etc etc.... its not original and it certainly isn't that interesting...i mean seriously...

i'm sorry i just had to get my rage out there..i can't stand boring bands who make it big based on novelty factor...

Meh, I don't like Dragonforce at all. If I want to listen to tight, technical, prog type shredding, I'll take Dream Theater any day.

DT is considerably more advanced than Dragonforce. I don't know why even comparing them, not the same league IMHO. But I admit being a long-standing DT admirer. Nevertheless, I like Dragonfoce too... in different way. They are fun, they have some energy and life that DT just does not have (and never had, even less now).
