I have heard the new song, liked the old disc, only because i love her voice. the new album they switched from Line 6's to Mesa Dual Rec's. The show here in DC sold out right away.

I checked out the new album. Her voice still annoys me... the album seems to be quite nice though.
I just can't get into her vocals, they really get on my nerves.

I've listened to it a few times now. The only song I'm really getting into is "Weight of the World." The rest are okay. I think I liked their first album better.

The new album is good, but its too polished, too over produced. I've been listening to Origin, the indy release before Fallen and it has such a great raw feel to it. They preserved some of that on Fallen, but even that was pretty polished.

Not just female fronted...I've always thought that they sounded very similar. But I guess Nightwish fired their singer so who knows what the future will bring.

I like Lacuna Coil and this band thats been around a while I just found out about Flyleaf better than Evanescence.
