I think In Flames tunes to C mostly. CC has been using some 7 string stuff too in Bb.

All Cannibal prior to Gallery of Suicide is Eb, Gallery and after is Bb on a seven string.

In Flames is C and sometimes Dropped A# or straight A#, not sure, pretty sure dropped A# though because they played Pinball Map on the same guitars they played every other song on and I didn't notice them tune down the whole guitar...

*EDIT* I said Iw as rpetty sure In Flames played in straight A# on some songs, meant Dropped A# [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Eb? My arse. Im sure they've always tuned to at least B or Bb.....
And In Flames are at C I'm pretty sure.

I actually DO think they tuned to Eb. Look up some of their tab. I am currently without a guitar tuner(for some reason, among all my other tons of gear, I've never bought a new one since my old one got lost), or I'd solve this mystery myself.

Yeah, I believe Dumpy Wumpy is right. I remember seeing some guitar tabs from The Bleeding where it was Eb. I thought that album was in D for some reason, or at least a couple of songs on it. Cannibal Corpse tuned to Eb until george corpsgrinder took over on vocals, then they went to Bb.

yeah that way they don't have to switch guitars to play the old songs live. tuning down always drowns out your bass player, and they have one of the best bass players around. but thats ok the sound man knows that alex is cannible corpse so he'll still be heard.
