Derek Sherinian - Black Utopia (new cd)

I picked this up last week and I really like it. I'm not really into prog metal, but I bought it for the guest guitarists: Zakk Wylde, Yngwie, Al Dimeola, Steve Lukather, Billy Sheehan & Tony Franklin (bass). The musicianship on this is unbelievable. Track 6 has a mean solo tradeoff between Zakk and Yngwie that's worth the price alone. One of the best disks I've picked up in a long time. If you're looking for something different, but rockin', this is worth a purchase.

I expect no less than the best from Sherinian. I've got his 2 previous solo albums as well as his Planet X albums. He was a member of my favorite band (DT) so you know I got that.

I'll get it in a few weeks when I'm done listening to the new Marty Friedman.
