We should go after Steve Smyth from Testament though.

Since Nu-Metal is about in it's death throes, might I suggest the next greatly hyped genre?
Screamo
Hey McD, since you'll see this eventually, Go after bands like Thursday, Poison the Well, and my favorite, Thrice.
Listen to Thrice's CD "Identity Crisis"
Not Viv/Vai/DiMartini/Smith/Murray level shred but I'll tell you all something... they actually do "play" their instruments. It's not tuned to 'Drop G" with a Whammy and an octave pedal slush.
They are all in the guitar mags, MTV, major summer tours, the fan mags et all. There's your exposure.
Plus, some of'em already have a Jackson or two.
But then, I'm sure this isn't a revelation to your marketing dept. is it? he...he...he...

Galder and Silenoz from Dimmu Borgir-Dimmu does well in Europe and Japan and they seem to gain steam with every disc.
Galder already plays Jackson, as I think Sileoz does(if not..let's correct this!) Would be good for euro marketing.
Get the guitar players from Cradle of Filth-I can't stand em, but they are starting to get some popularity here in the US. If they get any bigger, a Jackson in their hands would do wonders.
Guitar players from Shadows Fall-they are also gaining popularity, and it would be wise to grab em now!
(I am assuming these players don't have Jackson endorsements already..correct meif I am wrong!)
One of the dudes in Shadows Fall already has a Jackson. Its in the video for Thoughts Without Words. Im almost positive - its got a 3 a side headstock.
Theres a Welsh screamo band called Funeral For A Friend, yeah theyre sh*t etc but they play Jacksons. And theyre on MTV.
I also think Jackson Should jump on the insane Aussie death metal band "The Bezerker". He already plays Jacksons - He has a Kelly in the video for No-One Wins.
And theyve also got the fastest drummer in the world (seriously).
I first heard "Ultra Blue" and that did it for me. DL'd a couple of their songs, then went and bought the CD.
Had it in my truck for 2 weeks straight

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hmm, I haven't seen that video in awhile, but I don't remember seeing a Jackson in it. Lead guitar player, Jonathan Donais, is endorsed by Washburn and plays one in that video (an NX6), and I saw him in a magazine with a Hamer Diablo at one time. I forget what Matthew Bachand plays, but I'm pretty sure it's not a Jackson. I think I saw him in the same magazine with an Ibanez.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
I would choose Michael Moore to be the next endorsee. He would hound Fender HQ and demand answers as to why they think a run of US strat head Charvels would be such a threat to the Fender Strat. Then, after he was escorted out by security, he would yell up to the presidents window and challenge him to actually strap on a Soloist and show his shred prowess........And then we would need Ted Nugent as an endorsee to break Michael in half when he is no longer funny and his left wing views begin to grate........
> I agree with the people that would like to see John Petrucci endorsing Jackson. His Ibanez sig model was pretty much a DX10 with binding and Dimarzios,he can play the **** out of it in the true Jackson endorsee "shredder" mold, and he sold well for Ibanez and sells well for EB/MM. His band is popular in some circles, and he's young. No way to lose here.
