Jorn kicks ass, but my favorite is still Ray Alder from Fates Warning. Now, if he would just start hitting those real high notes again like he used to on the No Exit album...

Ray is a badass. Parallels is one of my favorite albums of all time. I don't think I have ever heard No Exit. It's good?

This Jorn guy is good, maybe even really good but he isn't doing much for me based on these clips. He sounds like he could be interchangeable with about a dozen other European singers.

I LOVE old FW (have 'em all) and LIKE the first Engine abulm...but their 2nd "Superholic", is a piece of NU bullshit, just hopping on a trend there...everyone said so including me..I had to DUMP that garbage!!

I Hope the next one is a step back in the right direction..I won't buy it new..I find used Engine cds in the dollar bin at least once a month..there is a endless supply of them here..

Jimmy..Buy both ARK and or Masterplan cds on your next music order..you won't be disappointed man..and Jorn's "worldchanger" is a great introduction to him!!

I was listening to Out to Every Nation on my way to work yesterday. If "When Angels Wings Were White" is playing, I have to wait until it finishes. I love the arrangement, the starting out low, building up to a big vocal climax, the way it makes you think it's going one way before it darts off in another direction. Brilliant! I was deep underground where all the talent was..and that's where I''m staying..I think it's funny that alot of bands I loved for years are very popular now..these kids thinks these are brand new bands..they're not..it just being promoted, MTV plays it..so it's "cool" now..hey that's fine with me..it's cool to see a Nevermore, Evergrey, Iced Earth, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Soilwork vid now and bands that are sounding like that ..playing solos ..finally..I would never believed this just 4 years ago..

So, to me this is pretty fuggin' cool..I'm just glad that real "metal" is back in the mix..not that mainstream crap that they pushed as "metal"..but the metal that went away for a long time..and came back..

It was too good not too.. look at all the shredders now, and all the cool amps and guitars..yes, I'm, glad it's back...Metal Mania plays all the 1988 stuff..so now we got both ..and hear the the progression of true metal..not that corparate made, heavily promoted, highly polished, mainstrem spew...

There were a few bands that came out of that spew that were "good"..there is good and bad in all forms of music..but

I'd much listen to any mediocre self promoted band with some blazing players than highly polished, trendy corporate spew anyday..
