    Yes there is a bit, but I pay it no mind. Either ya love him or hate him, but Dave is Dave and I for one am a huge fan. He's been nothing but cool each time I've met him.

    Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

        Believe it or not, I don't have a U2 CD. I do agree with the they suck part. lol

              I don't get what the fuzz around The Edge is about. He seems to be playing the same delay-trick all the time. In my view it seems he's not doing anything Dave Gilmore didn't do on "The Wall" decades before him. And I stil haven't heard a decent solo from The Edge either. Oh well. My rant of the day.

                OT: I guess I need to prepare for flying tomatoes, but I actually like U2 and own every single U2 CD except their two most recent. I don't see how a person couldn't find "Where the Streets Have no Name" at least somewhat moving. Is The Edge technically proficient on his instrument? No. But he *has* come up with some pretty cool, interesting stuff IMO. With a player like The Edge, I don't see delay as a crutch, but rather as a separate instrument that he "plays" in conjunction with the guitar.

                        It could also bring prices down if a company is able to grow and operate more efficiently from increased sales due to endorsees. Also, pricing isn't always a direct relation to expenses....there's often voodoo involved.

                        Plus, you can't deny endorsee input leads to some cool stuff that may not otherwise exist.
