John Skyes Equipments

Guys,
any of you know what equipments(amps,effect,pickups) John Skyes uses? I only know that he does ALOT of layering over his guitar tracks, and he uses gibson and charvel(in his early days).

Man! i LOVE his tone!! i wonder whethere a POD XT can get any where close to his tone...

Hmm, I think John played Mesa Mark III when he did Whitesnakes 1987.
