Went to Music Live at the NEC yesterday. Bit disappointing apart from seeing Marc Rizzo doing a demo on the Peavey stand, using his Peavey HP Special. To be honest, the sound wasn't all that great - the volume of the backing was higher than that on the guitar (at least where I was standing) - but the guitar looked the business - very similar to a Wolfgang - and from what I could hear, did the job as well. Marc Rizzo (Soulfly) can shred like an MF. He played on a Yamaha acoustic as well - absolutely cracking player - anyone heard his CD yet? And anyone tried the HP's?
