Which Pickups.... (again)

Alright lads.
I'd almost made my mind up to get a set of EMGs for my 'Jackson DK-Jamesy' project but Ive started thinking about maybe an Invader, or a X2N, or maybe a XL500...
ALthough the XL500 can sound a bit fizzy to my ears...
Anyone got any sound samples with the X2N and the Invader?
Id be putting it through a Peavey Bandit (when I get the b*stard lol)

go with the X2N,i just installed one in my new RR3 and its deffinatly made for thrash/death metal. The sound is huge!! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I also like EMG's but the X2N is a cheaper alternative and it sounds similar to the EMG's

Thanks Steve. I know this is completely the wrong forum. I think I was gonna start off asking about what pickups to sound like a band and then rephrased what I was on about or something lol.
Anyway, whats a good neck pickup to go with an X2N?

Well if you want a opinion...lol, I just installed a Screamin' Demon in the Bridge, and a Tone Zone in the Neck of a RR, and it is monsterous

yeah the tone zone and the X2N are surposed to be a great pairing.

No, but I've got both an EMG81 and an X2N, and atm I'd rather go with the X2N than the 81 (looks cool, sounds just as good if not better and doesn't require batteries). I can't record anything for you right now as my right arm is ****ed, but depending on when you're going to buy that stuff I may record a little thingy after my arm is healed...

online dictionary says; to sway - schaukeln/wiegen.
schaukeln/wiegen is what germans use to do to get a baby to sleep or whatever... you get it on your arms and sway it till it calms down and falls asleep...
