Hi everyone. I am starting this thread because of my love for the band Death. They are so absolutely amazing, and they have forever altered my guitar playing. I couldnt take it anymore and I had to let someone know about it. If anyone has anything to say about this, feel free to do so.. I will be waiting in anticipation for the Death tribute album to come out..

Evo: e-mail me if you want a one of a kind rare interview I did with Chuck. (Anyone else for that matter). I sent it to his Mom and she was very happy to get it. It was done for a friends fan mag so it wasn't distributed much and this is the only way to share it.

I'd like to get that interview as well, if it's not too much of an unconvenience to send it.

Ninja Guitar:
For starters, get the album Symbolic - there's not a single weak song on it, and it's also pretty "beginner-friendly".

Re: death appreciation post
Death were awesome! They were like the first death metal band I got into in the '80s in high school (well, besides Venom and Celtic Frost). Scream Bloody Gore and Leprosy were killer albums!! I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Death kicks a$$! The loss of Chuck was a huge loss to the Metal community, R.I.P.
Dave, if it isn’t too much trouble could you send a copy of that interview to ? Thanx.
