You should be able to find all the info you want at his website: www.dougaldrich.com

Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

Is Doug the guitar player from the 80's that was in House of Lords?? They had an album named Sahara that had a cover of "Can't find my way home" by Traffic/Steve Winwood that I have always liked due to the arrangement and lead work. It was really really good IMO.

I also seem to remember (God, the 80's were sooooooo long ago it seems) that he was with or associated with Giuffra, but I dunno...maybe I am mistaken.

Anywho, it is a great DVD, and if you were a fellow "Hair-Banger" like me in the 80's...you know the deal....

If anybody has any info, to correct me, I would really appreciate it.

      Thanks, you guys

Doug's axework in Lion just SMOKED! I've got all those cds as well. His work with Hurricane was as good as it could be considering the material. He was playing white Soloists back then - I remember the video clearly for "Power Love" on Radio 1990, or Night Flight or something like that - it was before Headbanger's Ball was around, even before we had MTV in our town.

I've got a couple solo discs by him as well - "Electrovision" and "High Centered". Very cool - he does a cover of Hendrix's "If 6 was 9". Killer! I think I'll listen to it now!

I was just checking out Doug's gear page and was surprized to see he uses a cheapy Korg GA-10 tuner!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">After seeing Dio with Doug a couple times seeing him with Craig again was I'm affraid to say a letdown. Craig's good but he does not have the tone, feel or taste Doug has.
