    The description on this thing says that normal humbuckers get fatter with distortion and that it doesn't. That was enough for me to not even consider trying it.

    But my freind who works at the local Music store here told me that it was designed for use with Mesa Boogie amps. Not sure if it's true or not.

        John Petrucci uses one, and he plays through a Mesa. I remeber the specs on it are that it's got a little scooped out midrange, but I've never played one.

          John Petrucci uses it and I like the sound.
          I played it and didn't like.
          It has to do a lot with what Amp you use I think as John Petrucci mentioned the same thing.

          I like Tone Zone and it matches with my Marshall amp. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
