    Re: George Lynch argument

If I totally hated Don Dokken, I would have never bought into any of his albums Lynch or not. When he and Lynch parted ways & went solo, I lost interest.
I guess I did slam him, but when I seen him a few years ago... he was rough, but definitly not Ozzy rough. (Oh well I slam another icon)
I've never heard Turner rough live. Pilson...definitely a big talent.
Who am I to say, they're signed and major league making big bucks, I'm not.

I hear you. I lost interest in Don when Lynch left too.

Don got the band named Dokken because he
formed and owned it, just like Van Halen did with his band. His store, his name.
I still think it was classless of George to sue Don into NOT calling his band Dokken ater the post-Monsters of Rock split. There were a LOT of worse singers than Don in the 80s, very notably Vince Neil.

As for post-Lynch Dokken, Erase The Slate
was a great record with Reb Beach on guitar. Long Way Home with Norum was not as good but still not bad. Both were a lot better than Smoke This by Lynch Mob!
        Ron is the MAN!!!!
