Just got back from Shadows Fall and Cradle of Filth in Guelph, amazing show! Shadows Fall stole it for me for sure, amazing live guitar sound, amazingly tight, and wicked guitar playing....Cradle's guitar sound was inaudible and I couldn't hear a thing they played, which really sucked, but they were still really good!
Matt from SF was playing an Ibanez Sabre (3+3 headstock), through a Marshall Major head, with a Korg rack tuner, a BBE 362 and some other rack unit (looked like a power amp, but that would've made no sense...)
Jonathan played a Washburn Bettencourt model about half the time, and I forget what the other guitar he was playing was....But he used Marshal TSL or DSL heads and no rack that I could see...
Again, awesome show! Killswitch Engage and Sworn Enemy couldn't get across the border and my band asked to play but we asked an hour after we got there, if we had asked immediately we would've opened for Cradle of Filth!
