• Marty Friedman / Guitarevolution show

Worth seeing if you have the opportunity. Alex Skolnick does his jazz thing to open.. plays popular metal tunes as jazz numbers. (Detroit Rock City was cool) Chris Poland's set was good, rock instrumental stuff kinda Satriani like. His bass player uses a six string fretless and was awesome. MF played songs from the "Music For Speeding" and rocked! (Ibenhad and Crate gear ) I didn't catch the other guitarists name, but he used two mutt single hum/recessed OFR strats with cool paint jobs. (kind of a two color swirl/splatter) Big Fender type headstock, one with Vai's sig on it.
A great show even if it was on a Monday night!
