        <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I say Maiden England is a close #2. Live After Death is still #1. There are no official DVDs of these two yet, but rumor has it they will eventually come out. LAD was shot on high quality film (as opposed to video), so it should be spectacular when remastered.

        The sound on RIR, like the recent albums, is a bit of a mess.

          I was listening to Dance Of Death in my car today.

          This CD has its moments. The title track, once it gets going - holy sh!t. I was acting like complete f!cking idiot in the car air drumming and head banging. It gave me goosebumps. The song is so majestic, Bruce sounds so convincing, it's got the vibe of Rime, mixed in with a little BNW, then Adrian Smith and Dave Murray's solos completely kill, and are followed by a sing along melody of the same magnitude as that of Fear Of The Dark. wow

          I hate power metal and all the cheesy melodies and slow intros maiden's been doing lately, but

          This record has its moment folks, give it a chance. Granted, there are some weak spots, but some of the **** on here is truly inspired.

          My favourite Maiden records are Killers and No Prayer, so there you go.

                      Jerry/Black Mask: You shouldn't jump to conclusions so fast, cuz that would be stereotyping a group of people (Pre Judge). I also HATE rap. I don't care what color the rapper. No one on this thread is racist; I know this because some have jumped to that conclusion before.

                      Just look back on Bills comment. Does it say ANYTHING about a race of people? Do you think maybe "Shot and killed" may have been an exaggeration?

                            although i love Live After Death, i feel that Maiden England is better because; it has more of a catalog of songs ranging throughout there entire carreer (ok not there entire but all there good albums). it was the peak of there carreer, and the musicianship of each of them is far greater. (hey, it comes with practice and they had a few years to do so between ME and LAD.)they were so much tighter on ME. the stage show to me was a whole lot more visually entertaining aswell - they had a bigger budget, a better light show, better sound. and that white stage set was the "icing" (har-har) on the cake! it made the already incredible light show even better. but basically becuase it was the tour of there last great album with the acclaimed line up. no yanick playing a solo at the same time as adrian during adrian's solo, no blaze "badly", bruce was singing better than he had ever before, and all the hits from IM to Seventh Son. THEY PLAYED INFINATE DREAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for cryin out loud!

                            HEY PAPA ROACH - EVER HEARD OF THAT SONG?

                            that whole video brings me back to a time where metal was the best and everyone spoke proper english. the ebonics and slag have gotten out of hand. if i have to hear "izzle" one more time there will be another school shooting and i'll be the one doing the drive-by!!!!!!!!
