Yeah ...I heard about the bass amp ...during the sirens sessions but I thought it was a Fender bassman....a lot of guitarist use that amp .

im guilty of using the rockman chorus for the same thing he did...you set the sweep at the deepest point and the rate at the lowest speed...this will give you 2 results...1) widens your sound out into stereo (very handy...)...and 2) somehow i cleans up your signal like an eq set really well...makes the high end of your tone "bite" a little more...without being really harsh...hope this helps... The way it reads is kind of confusing. But How I red is he ripped out the chorus and used that. (the chorus) in the chain with the Yamaha bass amp.

he took x-100's apart (sill had the weird eq-effect rockman's are known for)...using the rackmount rockman chorus, in the mannner described above, will give you the same effect...d.m.Comment
