Don Dokken Solo Guitarist-Billy White

Whatever happened to the guitarist named Billy White, who played on Dokken's solo effort ?. John Norum and Billy had some great playing and tone on this cd.

Billy was absolutely AWESOME on that album. After playing with Don Dokken, he later formed the Billy White Trio. He was playing guitar and doing the singing. It was real bluesy rock, not metal at all. I heard one of the cds, but didn't care for it much. After hearing his amazing solos on Don's album, I was very disappointed in his blues rock stuff.

Not too long ago, someone asked Don Dokken about Billy, and Don said he was living in a monistary somewhere like a monk. Is it true? I have no idea.

I don't know, but you search out WatchTower's "Energetic Disassembly", you can hear him playing something COMPLETELY different. I went to see Don on that tour just so I could yell "Watchtower" at Billy.
