  • The Real Ratt???

    Copied from Metal Sludge.
    -------------------------

Ratt will be Back for More less the King (RIP)

Call us creepy. Call us scums. Tell us we suck! But...fact is...Ratt is about to come Back For More & go Round n' Round! With all (surviving) original members. This means frontman Stephen Pearcy & original bassist Juan Croucier will be joining Warren DeMartini & Bobby Blotzer.

    Mark these words bitches!

The band is slated to play a final show in Mexico with the current line-up this weekend. Inside sources are reporting John Corabi will likely stay in the group and play rythym guitar.

As for Robbie Crane & Jizzy Pearl. There is always Love/Hate gigs at Paladinos and even the possibility of a 3rd LA Guns line-up. One with NO original members. How cool would that be? Jizzy Pearl, Robbie Crane, Keri Kelli and any random members of Every Mothers Nightmare, Smashed Gladys or War Babies!

Why bother? So they'll play in front of 150 people at some dingy club instead of 80 people at some dingy club. Didn't their last reunion flop anyway?

Sorry....not the same without the King!

And if you thought Pearcy sucked way back when....he's even worse now!

My parents are in their 60's. They saw Ratt in my hometown of 10,000 people. They said the band was very good, but they thought it was too heavy. LOL This was a couple of years ago.

I'd be there too if it's the original members just for old times sake. I saw them last year at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, and they blew chunks. It's pretty bad when Quiet Riot and Firehouse put on a better show than Ratt.

I'd watch and listen to Warren D. anytime

I saw Stephens do it solo on the wasp tour last year and it was great, nice flashback.

I think it would be great. I know there are a lot of Robbin fans here and I know he was a founding member, but he certainly was nothing special as a player. His presence may not be easily replaced, but his talent certainly is.

depends if Pearcy can still pull that shit off. his voice has been shot for years.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Say what you will, but I've seen Firehouse a number of times, and they ALWAYS put on a good show. They're one of the tightest, most PRO bands I've seen. Even if you hate them, you have to admit they are good at what they do, and they treat their fans better than ANY band I've ever seen.

Ratt? I saw them about 5 years ago with Jizzy, Warren, Crabby, Crane, & Blotz. It was...okay. Warren played great, but the house PA was a bit loud, and the sound was really distorted. I've never seen Stephen live, and I'm not sure I'd want to. We'll see... I had tickets to see them on their last tour, but he fell off the stage the night before in Wisconsin and f'd up his knee, so the rest of the tour ended up getting cancelled.

Wow...don't know what to say about that... You maybe need to listen to (or recognize) Robbin's playingand his solo work. I think there's a lot more to him and his talents as a player and songwriter than you are giving him credit for.
