I was thinking the same.. that IS a nice axe regardless. ESP has been about the block and they know the game. Altho, I've heard thier customer service while sometimes being personable,also can completely suck on being accurate with dates of completions and such.

I'm not much for ESP's but DAMN!!!! that's a nice guitar. Charvel/Jackson deserves to lose sales to this guitar for not producing the damn things themselves.

when he went over to ESP, you'll see that ESP endorsed the BANDS, COB and Sinergy, not Alexi singly. Looks like Roope has no choice but to play ESPs to keep his TWO jobs. If you were in that position and other offers weren't flocking in, you do what you have to to keep your gig and survive.
Of course the band endorsements leave Alexi and Roope an out. All they have to do is disband COB and Sinergy, and start a new band, to get loose of the ESP deal.
