He's a real monster of a player. I was lucky enough to see him play in a local venue here a couple of years ago and needless to say he put on a great show. He is entertaining enough between songs too. Very comfortable performer all round. He really deserves to get more recognition.

Wait 'till you check out his acoustic stuff. The man is an insane classical player (fingerpicking/ chicken picking). He's just one with the instrument and finds the perfect balance between everything. Sometimes I'm listening to something by him and I go to myself: 'such a simple melody/lick, but oh so beautiful' and then you realize what he's doing and you notice it's some pretty complex shapes. That takes talent. "Organic" is what I'm looking for!
