i've been kinda taken back too, but i love it!!!! hope he sets the maple boards are cool again trend.

and i LOVE it, that it only has a volume control.
the color is awesome too (Vampire red haha)

maybe Jeff was digging how the DK2M looked, with the maple board & black binding. Although the headstock on the Schecter doesn't look as cool. Maybe if they'd done the logo in black....

That thing is sweet, but the headstock would definetly look better if it matched the body, imo. VitaminG's idea of the logo in black is a good one.
