    Newc,

I think you may be confusing him with Roy Buchanan. Another DC area guitarist who is gone too soon.

Of course I may be confusing Roy with someone else myself.

Roy died in the Drunk Tank. Danny killed himself. I saw Danny many times playing in DC. He was hands down, UNREAL.

I have been listening to some Danny lately. 88 Elmira. What a great record.

        Mike
Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

I was just going to say that! That Austin City Limits performance was awesome! There was another part where he was working his tone knob, sounding just like a wha pedal!

              Shame he left so soon....

Danny felt that no one appreciated his playing

Compliment Everybody you hear that you like....
maybe THEY haven't heard it in years.

                Everybody needs to feel needed.

                My favorite is "The Humbler"

                    Jeez, that was good!
Remember kids, however good they say they are, they're not as good as Danny Gatton was....
